Around it, an intricate scribble crown of tiny domes and arches - reminiscent of Sufi shrine architecture - made from black chaotic threads encircling the sun like a sacred wreath. Below it, the whirling dervish - tiny white figure with red topi, gold belt, arms wide open, skirt fanned in full 13-panel scalloped circle blooming outward, every pleat defined by black scribble lines with wild frilly edges giving movement.
