1. ABOUT US

Welcome to Expert Framing & Art Gallery ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website, purchasing artwork, placing an order, requesting custom framing, or commissioning artwork, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Expert Framing & Art Gallery is a Karachi-based art gallery and custom framing studio. We offer original paintings, artwork, art prints, custom framing, box framing, canvas stretching, portrait commissions and related art services. We sell products to customers within Pakistan and internationally, subject to shipping availability.

2. WEBSITE USE 

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activities.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
  • Copy or misuse our website content, artwork or photographs.
  • Upload harmful, offensive or unlawful material.
  • Use another person's information without authorization.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe the website has been misused.

3. ARTWORK & PRODUCT INFORMATION 

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, prices, photographs, colours and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However:

  • Artwork is individually created and may have natural variations.
  • Colours may appear slightly different depending on the customer's screen or device.
  • Handmade frames and artworks may have minor variations.
  • Measurements may have reasonable manufacturing or framing tolerances.
  • Original artworks are generally unique and may not be available again.

Where an artwork is listed as an original, it means the physical artwork offered for sale is an original work as described on the product page.

4. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE 

Submitting an order through our website does not automatically guarantee acceptance. We may contact you to verify order details, payment, delivery information or product availability. We may cancel or decline an order where:

  • The artwork is no longer available.
  • There is an obvious pricing or product-description error.
  • Payment cannot be authorized or verified.
  • Incorrect or incomplete customer information has been provided.
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

If payment has already been received for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded through the appropriate payment method.

5. ORIGINAL ARTWORK & AVAILABILITY 

Most original paintings are one-of-a-kind. Once an original artwork has been sold, we may not be able to provide another identical piece. Where an artist is able to create a similar artwork, this will be treated as a new artwork and may differ in composition, colours, size and details.

6. CUSTOM FRAMING & COMMISSIONED ARTWORK 

Custom framing and commissioned artwork are produced according to customer-approved specifications. Before production, customers may be required to confirm:

  • Artwork size
  • Frame style
  • Frame colour/material
  • Mount
  • Glass/acrylic
  • Finishing
  • Other requested specifications

Once production has started, changes or cancellation may not be possible without charges for work or materials already used. Customers are responsible for carefully checking approved specifications before production begins.

7. PRICES & TAXES 

Prices displayed on our website are generally shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without prior notice. The price applicable to an order is the price confirmed at the time of purchase. For custom framing and commissioned work, the quoted price will apply to the approved quotation, subject to any subsequent customer-requested changes. International customers may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges or other destination-country charges.

8. PAYMENT METHODS 

We accept various payment methods available at checkout, which may include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express (Amex)
  • Other supported debit/credit cards
  • Online payment services made available through our payment gateway
  • Bank transfer, where applicable
  • Cash on Delivery (for eligible Pakistan orders)

All online card payments are processed securely through our authorized third-party payment gateway. We do not store complete credit or debit card numbers on our website.

Payment Authorization: By placing an order using a credit or debit card, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the amount payable for your order, including applicable shipping charges, taxes or other charges displayed at checkout. For security purposes, an order may be subject to payment verification or additional authentication. We reserve the right to cancel or hold an order if the payment cannot be successfully authorized or verified.

9. DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates and may vary according to:

  • Product availability
  • Production time
  • Customer location
  • Courier operations
  • Weather
  • Public holidays
  • Customs clearance
  • Import procedures
  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Once an order is dispatched, tracking information may be provided through email, WhatsApp or SMS.

10. AUTHENTICITY & CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY 

We take reasonable care to ensure that artwork is accurately described. Where a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is available or specifically provided with an artwork, it will accompany the artwork as applicable. For artworks by established artists, descriptions may include information such as artist attribution, medium, title, dimensions and provenance where such information is available to us. We do not knowingly sell counterfeit artwork. Any authenticity claim will be considered based on the documentation, representation and information available for the particular artwork.

11. SHIPPING DAMAGE 

We take reasonable care to package artwork securely using appropriate protective materials. If an artwork arrives damaged, the customer must contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs/videos of:

  • Outer packaging
  • Shipping label
  • Packaging materials
  • Damaged artwork
  • Frame/glass/canvas and other affected areas

Customers should retain the original packaging until the matter has been resolved.

12. RETURNS & REFUNDS 

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All artwork images, photographs, website text, logos, graphics, videos, designs and other content displayed on our website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing a physical artwork does not automatically transfer copyright, reproduction rights or commercial rights in the underlying artwork. Unless expressly agreed in writing, customers may not:

  • Reproduce artwork commercially.
  • Sell reproductions.
  • Copy artwork for commercial purposes.
  • Use our product photographs without permission.
  • Copy our website content or branding.

14. CUSTOMER PHOTOGRAPHS & COMMISSION REFERENCES 

Where a customer provides photographs for a commissioned portrait or custom artwork, those photographs will be used for the purpose of completing the customer's order. We will not intentionally publish or use such private reference photographs for marketing without the customer's permission.

15. REVIEWS & CUSTOMER CONTENT 

Customers may submit reviews, photographs, comments and other content. Content must not be unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading, obscene or infringe another person's rights. By submitting a review or photograph for publication, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content. We may remove content that violates these requirements.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

17. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL 

We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform our obligations caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, courier disruptions, government restrictions, customs delays, war, civil disturbance or other force majeure events.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS 

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with the updated date.

19. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION 

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan. Subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law, disputes relating to our website, products or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karachi, Pakistan.
