Rashid Ali Black Horse With Sun Oil On Canvas 24x24
Rashid Ali Black Horse With Sun Oil On Canvas is an original oil on canvas artwork measuring 24 x 24 inches by Pakistani artist Rashid Ali. This is a 100% hand-painted original artwork, not a print.
This dramatic 24x24 square painting captures a powerful black horse in profile against a moody sky. The composition features a striking black horse head and neck with bridle and harness, rendered in bold expressive palette knife strokes in black, charcoal grey, white, and touches of orange. The horse's mane is flowing with energetic impasto strokes in black and white suggesting wind and speed. A large vibrant textured yellow sun in the top right corner creates a powerful contrast against the monochrome grey and white abstract background with swirling brushstrokes. The foreground shows abstract harness lines and dynamic streaks in black and grey adding movement. Rashid Ali's signature abstract equestrian style uses heavy texture, strong monochrome contrast with a single bold color pop, and gestural brushwork to evoke power, freedom, and dramatic atmosphere. Signed 'Rashid Ali 24' at bottom right.
