Three Women - Teal Nocturne by Maqbool Ahmed (24x30 Inches)
It is not always easy to paint night that bends, that moment when three women dissolve into liquid teal and midnight folds around them. That's what this surreal masterpiece by legendary Pakistani modernist Maqbool Ahmed does. This is a 24 x 30 inches oil on canvas, figurative abstraction, dreamlike, sensual, deeply mysterious. This is pure teal twilight, feminine fluidity, sculptural ribbon and nocturnal grace that brings contemporary Pakistani modern art and surreal movement into your space.
This original painting is AVAILABLE with Expert Framing.
The Story and Visual Flow
At first glance you see three women elongated, twisting, made of aqua glass. Left woman, dark left panel, side view, torso deep turquoise blue, arm arched green, hood bone white beige, waist hollow forest green brown, legs long teal, one leg bent, leaning back, isolated against deep midnight blue black.
Center woman, dominant, frontal, bust pale pink lilac pearlescent, nipples peach, waist folded brown void, hips teal green aqua, legs crossed, luminous. Right background, third woman faint, ghostly, pale teal, seated, watching, ethereal. Above left, floating lime green pebble, and a yellow green curved bar top right like moon horn. Background split - left midnight black teal, right deep blue green teal, layered, moody. Brushwork is smooth, blended, sculptural oil, soft gradients aqua to green, surreal melting form, glossy. Signature not visible in crop but authenticated. You don't just see three women, you feel teal liquid, you feel night bending bodies, you feel surreal dance, you feel moonlit fluid sculpture breathing.
