Three Women Walking - Confetti Dance by Maqbool Ahmed (30x42 Inches)
It is not always easy to paint wind carrying color, that moment when three women walk away, red green bodies dissolving into confetti, blue sky exploding with orange petals, like celebration thrown in air. That's what this poetic masterpiece by legendary Pakistani modernist Maqbool Ahmed does. This is a 30 x 42 inches horizontal oil on canvas, figurative abstraction, expressive, airy, deeply rhythmic. This is pure freedom, feminine departure, wind dance and confetti ecstasy that brings contemporary Pakistani modern art and breezy movement into your space.
This original painting is AVAILABLE with Expert Framing.
The Story and Visual Flow
At first glance you see three silhouettes walking into sky blue, confetti flying everywhere. Left two women close together, facing each other slightly, one with orange hat teal green body red top, one with flowing red hair red choli green lower, both fragmented, bodies thick, impasto, orange yellow shards bursting from them like birds, like leaves.
Right woman dominant, tall, dark silhouette almost black green, back turned, walking away, long hair, solitary, powerful, mysterious, facing away from viewer into blue. Around all three, small colorful confetti fragments flying, orange, yellow, green, red, black, like Holi powder, like petals, like birds in sky.
Far right faint ghost orb in white orange, like echo, like fourth spirit. Background is soft sky blue, cerulean, turquoise, white clouds, expressive brushstrokes, airy, open, making warm red green figures float. Brushwork is bold, thick impasto, palette knife smears, drips, expressive splashes. Signature bottom right Maqbool in black. You don't just see women walking, you feel wind, you feel farewell, you feel celebration, you feel freedom, you feel sky festival.
Why Oil on Canvas Works So Well Here
Oil on canvas is perfect for this airy figurative work. Maqbool Ahmed uses thick, juicy, fragmented oil, dark silhouette against light blue, red teal contrast, wet-on-wet blending, confetti impasto dabs flying off canvas, creating wind movement. The 30x42 inch horizontal format makes it a window to sky, intimate yet grand, perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, lounges. Only original oil on canvas can hold this thick confetti texture, this vibrant sky depth, this real walking movement that a print can never give.
A Piece for Your Home and Heart
At 30x42 inches horizontal, this Three Women Walking is an expressive figurative statement, ideal for living room, bedroom, entrance, boutique hotel, gallery wall, bringing freedom, energy, color and contemporary Pakistani modern art. Perfect for lovers of Maqbool Ahmed, women walking paintings, confetti art, blue sky paintings, and expressive modern figurative. Its palette of sky blue, cerulean, turquoise, vermillion red, burnt orange, teal green, forest green, sunflower yellow, black and white creates a breezy, vibrant, celebratory focal point on white, grey, or blue walls.
